Foam Spacers

Some applications include custom produced foam spacers that require removal of adhesive paper backing.

It is highly advised to work in a warm environment to ensure adhesive is softened enough to release the paper backing.

A simple method that eases removal is using a bit of isopropyl alcohol to soften the paper backing, and removing it with the tip of a utility blade or precision knife.

1. Pierce any inner portion of the backing, avoiding edges:

2. Soak the paper backing with isopropyl alcohol, spreading it around to ensure release:

3. Remove backing:
